My recruitment career began in 2007, focusing initially on FMCG, Retail and Ingredients/Flavours industries. After four years, I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to open an office in Sydney, Australia overseeing Asia Pacific and Oceania covering Consumer, Medical/Life Sciences and Energy/Oil & Gas sectors. In 2013, I relocated to Dubai, UAE to focus on the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe. Fast forward to present day, I am still based in the UAE, maintaining strong connections to Consumer Goods sectors whilst also recruiting in the following industries: Hospitality, Tourism, Management Consulting, Construction and Training/Education.
I have vast experience of recruiting for large multinational blue-chip corporations such as Unilever, Mars, Kellogg’s, Diageo, RB, Mondelez, Beiersdorf, and exciting growth focused SMEs and Startup businesses. This exposure has provided me with a holistic view towards a broad spectrum of talent acquisition methodologies and requirements. I have worked with Ben as both a recruiter and candidate. Ben is an expert in his field and incredibly skilled at matching candidates and roles/companies. Ben recruited for me whilst I was at Premier Foods and despite the very narrow and specific brief he managed to produce some great potential candidates for the role. All candidates were exactly as described and almost all met the brief perfectly. As a candidate Ben is always on hand to guide you through the process and liaise with your potential employers should you have any questions. Also one of the best things I found during my numerous conversations with Ben is that he does not try to pressure you into going for interviews or looking at companies that would not fit your skills or personality.
